Who Is Andrew?
I am the founder and CEO of "The Interview Series", which you'll read about in a bit. But before we get into that, let's do this bio thing the right way, shall we?
When you read some people’s bio, you don’t get much info about that person. My philosophy is, if you’re going to do business with someone, at least have an understanding of their background, who they are and what they think, right?
So this page is dedicated to me, Andrew Poletto. Want to know who I am? Where I’m from? What I’ve done? Now’s your chance to read all about me.
Early Life
I was actually born in Toronto, Canada. My parents both come from Northern Italy. When I was 4 years old, the family moved to the small town of Clinton, IN, USA. This is where I grew up.
My sister and I grew up in an Italian environment with a flavor of Americanism thrown in. It was not a strict household, but one of respect. That is probably why, even to this day, I hold my parents in the highest respect. I actually go as far as saying I have the coolest parents in the world. (Want to piss me off really quick? Say something negative about my folks, you won’t like what happens afterwards)
Traditional Italian household, we ate meals at the table, altogether…no television. Yes, we did speak Italian in the house. My sister and I grew up with a bottle of wine on the table, so to us drinking was never a big deal. We had it if we wanted it. My dad always had his garden which I was often helping him with. By helping I mean I was the weed eater. My job was to keep the garden free of weeds, a job at which I definitely was not the best.
Education
I went to a typical small town High School, South Vermillion High School. I played baseball, ran cross country, was in the band, and was in several school plays and musicals. I worked at a fast food restaurant all through my junior and senior. Nothing out of the usual.
I attended college at Saint Joseph’s College in Rennselaer, IN. [Go Pumas!] I went to college to play baseball, but that didn’t last long. After a year of sitting the bench on the JV team, I decided to leave the game and hit the books hard. I actually improved my grades a great deal and even made Dean’s List. (which made my mommy proud!)
Post Graduation
After graduating with a decent GPA with a degree in Mathematics, I set out to conquer the world. I figured with a degree in Math, everyone would want me. Believe it or not, that wasn’t the case.
So, without going into detail, let me outline the different jobs/position and their locations I have held since graduating college:
Finance Company : Assistant Manager – Terre Haute, IN
Hospital: Bill Collector – Clinton, IN
Medical Company : Insurance Biller (I had no experience with this) – Indianapolis, IN
Restaurant : Bartender/Server – Indianapolis, IN
Loan Officer – Bloomington, IN; Indianapolis, IN
Account Executive – Indianapolis, IN
District Loan Origination Manager – Cleveland, OH

Bank – West Palm Beach, FL

Internet History
While working as an Account Executive, I wrote an E-book about how to sell a certain kind of mortgage product. I didn’t know what I was doing, but I wrote it. I also sent out weekly emails to all my clients about mortgage training and mortgage stuff.
I started writing monthly letters to all my friends and past clients. Not mortgage related, just Andrew related. The purpose was marketing myself as the mortgage expert.
All this writing gave me an urge to do something on the internet to go along with selling my Ebook. I created Real Mortgage Training. I hired a coach and we went to work on how to market the book and develop other products.
With the mortgage business not quite what it used to be, I wanted to do something different. So, I contacted another coach and started working with him, and we hit it off. He helped me write articles and market myself. I had a LOT of content out on the internet, but nothing was happening. You see, the mortgage business was in bad shape and my target audience, mortgage professionals, were leaving the industry by the truck load. I literally had half my email distribution list gone over night.
My coach and I brainstormed as to how we could best utilize the talents I had created. The Ecourse idea It was a natural fit. I had already been training folks via the internet, I had already created Ecourses without even knowing I was doing it. I focused quite a bit on the inner game. Naturally, developing a style that was all my own was already done, so the next best thing would be to take my teaching outside the realm of mortgage professions. We came up with the idea about utilizing Ecourses not only to market myself, but to teach others to do it as well.
Hence, Ecourse Central was born.
I now had two internet business, Ecourse Central and Real Mortgage Training.
But my real passion was talking with people and I wanted to do something based around that.
So I started "The Interview Series", which is where the majority of my focus is at today.
And, since I have been working out and trying to be as fit as possible since college, I have a real passion for chatting with folks who are experts in this field. You see, I just didn't workout out to do it, I wanted to do it to be healthy and STAY healthy. Which brings us up to the present. But, let's go on.
