Life in Sunny SW Florida

I get a lot of people asking me if I like Florida or not. I’ve lived in Indianapolis, Cleveland and SW Florida. Each has it good points and each has it’s not so good points.

What I miss about Indy and Cleveland is the change of seasons. It’s cool to see the colors change in the fall.
I miss mushroom hunting with my Dad in late September.
I miss wearing shorts and a sweatshirt.
I miss all the friends I’ve made in those places.

I don’t miss the snow. Oh, I don’t mind looking at it, but I don’t want to shovel it or drive in it.
I don’t miss the cold weather. Getting dressed up in 3 layers of clothes just doesn’t do it for me.
I don’t miss the traffic in the bigger cities.

I could go on and on, but for now, that’s what I’ll write.
